I found this a slow start, the almost RPG forced getting together of characters was painful but after a couple of chapters this became really enjoyable. My only real problem is that I do like a good zombie story and this sits in the recent trend (real or as fed to me by Amazon) of zombie books without zombies. Give me zombies!
