Amazfit X : End of the line

The Amazfit X story has been a painful saga demonstrating corporate irresponsibility on both the part of Huami Amazfit and indiegogo. The watch never has worked as expected - for me principally the hopeless GPS implementation and laughable battery life. But it told the time and had a lot of nice functions so it stayed on my wrist. A month ago it locked up, annoying because it turns out when not doing anything battery life was awesome before it finally ran out and unlocked. Today I dropped it on the bathroom floor and discovered the only component hold the strap in place is a piece of plastic less than 2mm thick and part of the main body. So today the Amazfit X ends it's time because it's unrepairable.
