This is a picture of one of the turrets built into the walls of the town of Brouage in western France - it was a strategically important town historically and has strong walls all around in a star arrangement designed to give overlapping fields of defensive cannon fire.I took this with a Fuji Finepix S602 zoom on a roasting hot day.
